In February this year Dr Peter Loewinthan and Dr. Joshua Kantrowitz visited the Oasis de Esperanza (Oasis of Hope) school in the Sor María Romero barrio in Matagalpa. Following up that visit Superemos discussed with the school director setting up a preventive health programme similar to the one Superemos runs in the lñocal barrios in Estelí. We will start this programme in matagalkpa with the Oasis de Esperanza school this month serving about 350 children aged from 2 to 11 years of age.
