The ceramic workshop's kiln is now rebuilt. To save time, we used one of the existing rooms at the back of the school which we will replace later in time for the visits we expect early in 2011. See more photos here.

Thanks to funding from the Nicaraguan government's relief fund, the ceramic workshop's kiln is now rebuilt. Currently the paint shop is in the space occupied previously by the sewing workshop. We are now working on rebuilding a space to accommodate work using the electric potter's wheels and moulds.For the moment the various operations of the ceramic workshop are being carried out wherever we can fit them in. In any case, production in the ceramic workshop is back to normal.
Gracias al apoyo del fondo de emergencia del gobierno de Nicaragua, el horno del taller de cerámica ya está reconstruido. El trabajo de pintura se ha acomodado en donde antes estuvo el taller de costura. Ahora estamos trabajando en la construcción de un espacio para acomodar los tornos y el trabajo de los moldes. De todas manera la producción del taller de cerámica ya está normal.
