Since we built the bridge to El Limón several years ago every year it has proved of vital service to local people - especially school children, health workers and teachers and people working in Estelí - enabling them to travel safely from their communities into Estelí and back even when the creek is in flood.
This year we were determined to get some photos and video of the creek in spate so everyone who helped build this important community infrastructure can see what an essential resource it has been and continues to be for hundreds of people living south west of Estelí.
