As part of the follow up to the medical brigade from the Dorchester House Multi Service Centre of Boston Superemos purchased several wheel chairs for patients with disability who were seen by members of the brigade. One of those patients was Erick Josue Benavides from the community of Santa Cruz, south of Estelí. Welders Wilson Ordoñez and Alberto Lanuza took a standard wheelchair and adapted it by incorporating a higher backrest that permitted the addition of an ajustable headrest. At the same time they incorporated two curved plates that enable the back rest itself to be adjusted to accommodate the posture of the patient. Superemos is very grateful to both the Dorchester House medical brigade and the local health authority for making this help for Erick Josue possible.
