Thanks to our friends in the Association Aid to Nicaragua of Japan, we were able to organize another solar panel workshop this year involving participants from local communities, the Christine King Cooperative and the local national Autonomous University's campus here in Estelí. The workshop was led by Toshihiko Yamamoto with interpreting support and advice from Kenji Ishizu. We are very grateful to the Association Aid to Nicaragua of Japan for facilitating the donation of equipment that will help us carry out installations to help local communities without electricity and also to set up demonstration and training systems enabling local people in and around Estelí to learn how solar energy can offer practical, appropriate and relevant solutions to some of the energy problems they face.
