| The last two weeks of March this year have been very busy for us. Along with our normal activities, we helped the Global Education Fund organize a successful teacher training event for over 50 local teachers in liaison with the local Ministry of Education. We also received a medical delegation led by Dr. Peter Loewinthan of the Dorchester House Multi-Service Center in Boston and we also had a brief visit from our friends in the Aid for Nicaragua Assocation of Nagoya, Japan. On Sunday March 29th we organized a music education event for participants in our music education programme.
We owe a special thanks to our dear friend Cele Meyer and her family for making these various activities possible to benefit local people here in Estelí. |
