On April 27, 2017 the Domestic Violence Prevention Program visited two rural communities in Miraflor. They give monthly talks to children from the community schools in "El Robledal" and in "El Paraiso".

On April 3rd seven new sewing machines - provided by the "Escuela de Oficios Hugo Chávez Frías" of the local government - were installed in the sewing classroom.
